Massaranduba and Ipe shelf I whipped up for the bathroom. Sliding dovetails attach the brackets to the ends of the shelf, the center of the shelf is recessed so that drips from the toothbrushes and shaving brush don't leak all over. Finish is Penofin oil, although I may at some point change that and put a couple of coats of spar varnish over it 'cause though the Penofin on our front entrance has been great for weather resistance, it doesn't give a nice smooth surface to wipe toothpaste stains off of.
