It's been a relatively dry winter, but even so the flowers that make this area so cool have started to bloom. On Saturday I rode over to Point Reyes Station, and on the way back spent some time lying amidst the wildflowers next to Nicasio Reservoir using cell phone minutes to catch up with various family members.
Charlene and I had a great dinner with Jeff and Diane yesterday, Jeff lived out here for a while, and Diane has lived in Ohio and this was her first trip out, and it was great to see the area from someone else's eyes, the coast and Yosemite and the redwoods and how rich with cool and interesting stuff the area is.
And preparations for the trip up to Portland, Oregon to visit Celia and deliver the Rocking Horse continue.
